Our Team
Was born and raised in Haiti. He moved to the United States at the age of 14, and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Computer Engineering degree. Upon graduation, Ley landed an analyst position at a major Investment bank on Wall Street. Ley leads all acquisitions, asset management, and disposition for Vesset Capital. He has a deep understanding of financial modeling, capital stack, and deal structures. Given his technical background, he has utilized his analytical skills and his systematic approach to underwrite hundreds of opportunities and successfully close numerous deals for Vesset Capital. He also uses his passion and understanding of capital markets to set the strategic direction for the firm.
Interesting Fact: Up until summer 2021, Ley was a secret supporter of the Argentina soccer team because they hadn't won any trophies during his lifetime
Prior to co-founding Vesset Capital, Markus started his career at a top Wall Street firm. While working on Wall Street he broadened his knowledge in data analytics and risk management. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he witnessed the landscape and demographics of his community change rapidly which fueled his passion for Real Estate Investing. After graduating from Morehouse College with a B.A. in Finance, he moved to New York and shortly after found his way to Philadelphia. Now, Markus focuses on raising capital, investor relations and leads Vesset Construction.
Interesting Fact: Markus is learning Spanish and enjoys taking trips backpacking across South America.
